A $2.85 million U.S. Division of Schooling Native Hawaiian schooling grant will help a program geared toward rising the general bodily, psychological and emotional well being and well-being of Native Hawaiian youth.
I Paʻa Ka Huewai Pawehe, which interprets to “in order that our prized water gourds are made agency,” is a three-year College of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa School of Schooling program that can provoke, develop and enhance the instruction and implementation of well being schooling, bodily schooling and bodily exercise via culturally related and trauma-informed educating practices.
