A doctor, educator, writer and a science adviser will lead a digital celebration of most cancers survivorship and hope within the morning Thursday, Aug. 27, concerning breast disparities amongst African American ladies.
The digital celebration, which begins at 9 a.m. on Fb and Instagram at Susan G. Komen Inland Empire @SKGIE or #CircleofPromise2020, will characteristic Dr. Lisa Newman, a Komen Scholar who will focus on the science behind what makes African American ladies’s breast most cancers completely different from different ladies.
Additionally on the panel is Sandra Finestone, Ph.D., Komen Inland Empire previous board president and Komen Advocate in Science; Kara Adams, writer of “Hidden Treasure: 5 Steps to Transformational Self-Love” and Margaret Hill, Ph.D., trustee with the San Bernardino Metropolis Unified College District.
