Saranac Lake school district offers free meals for kids in summer | News, Sports, Jobs



SARANAC LAKE — This summer season, kids within the Saranac Lake Central College District can take pleasure in lunch and breakfast at no cost by way of the Summer time Meals Service Program, a federally funded diet program open to all youngsters aged 1 to 18 years.

No functions are essential to drop in, and all kids and teenagers are welcome. Lunch can be supplied in Saranac Lake and Vermontville, and breakfast can be supplied in Saranac Lake.

The Summer time Meals Service Program makes positive all kids can eat wholesome meals through the summer season months after they can not eat at college.

Breakfast and lunch can be obtainable at Petrova Elementary College for all college students attending the Camp Ampersand day program in addition to any baby between the age of 1 and 18. This can run from June 28 to Aug. 20 — breakfast from eight to eight:30 a.m., lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
