KAMIAH – The Upriver Youth Management Council (UYLC) introduced Thursday that it has been awarded grant from the Innovia Basis to offer youth group counseling summer time periods, no contact thermometers and free household meals to go.
Because the affect of COVID-19 continues to unfold, Innovia Basis, along with native philanthropic organizations, people and companies pooled assets to determine two COVID-19 Group Response and Restoration Funds at Innovia Basis. These funds assist organizations which have deep roots in neighborhood and robust expertise serving weak populations in japanese Washington and North Idaho.
“We’re very grateful for this grant”, says Sharlene Johnson, Govt Director of UYLC, “earlier than the pandemic hit, we already had hungry kids. COVID brought about the worth of meals to sky-rocket in all places, placing pressure on already stretched household meals budgets. Every week Tyler Wiley, UYLC’S Teen Heart and Youth Exercise Coordinator, with the help of the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) will put together wholesome meals with directions on methods to put together at house.
